St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is composed of small groups of dedicated
Vincentians at many parishes throughout Alameda County and beyond. Each
parish group, or conference, organizes local volunteer efforts to assist
neighbors in need. Conferences provide in person help to people of all faiths
who experience need. There are over 40 conferences in Alameda county with
more than 600 members. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda
County, or the district council, is a non-profit organization that exists to meet the
needs of homeless and economically disadvantaged people. You can give of
your time and special talent in ways that you might not even imagine could be
useful. A significant time commitment is not required.
