First Fridays
- Each First Friday of the month, from October through May, the Blessed
Sacrament is exposed on our altar, for the prayerful adoration of the faithful.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament stimulates us to an awareness of the
marvelous presence of Christ. Exposition begins after 8:30 A.M. Mass, and ends
with Benediction at 4:45 P.M. Parishioners volunteer to spend a particular half-
hour in private prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, each of the First Fridays
mentioned. Postcards are sent to volunteers about a week before each First
Friday, as a reminder. This reminder will include a phone number to call in
case a volunteer cannot come on a given Friday. A substitute will be provided.
